Back || Next || Recent || Bohnertime || Close Jugde Hatchett gives out emotionally charged judgements in exchange for low class jobless viewers and DeVry advertisements. Tune in and you too can see mad woman Judge Hatchett is drunk on the thimble sized pittance of power given to her by what I am sure was an equal opportunity law degree. This is the face of injustice.
The only reason I mention it is because I ran home today at lunch and flipped on the television for the hell of it. Since daytime television is notoriously horrible, I though I would check out what I was missing by having a job and school and all that crazy stuff. Well I wasn’t disappointed because I turned on the television to the middle of a very heated real life courtroom drama that went a little like this: Plaintiff: My man doesn’t love my baby. He wasn’t there for me. I partied when I was preg’nat, sure, but my man did not care. (Or something unintelligible like that) Which was followed up by Judge Hatchett with: “Oh I know you didn’t just say that. Don’t make me come off this bench. I have seen too many women who partied and smoked dope and they did not take care of their babies. It makes me sick, just sick, that women do this. So you shut your mouth or I will come right down of the bench.” Then the show cut to commercial clips of left wing self righteous rants tied together with her makings sure either the plaintiff or the defendant was fully aware that she was prepared to “Get down off this bench.” Ok, first off, what the hell is she going to do when she comes of the bench? Hit the plaintiff? Have a smack down in the middle of her courtroom. I am pretty sure that it is illegal to threaten the people in front of your court with bodily harm, and really, it should be grounds for termination. But secondly and more importantly: As a judge, you act as an arm of the state. The state has a very limited number of issues that it can make moral judgements on. The state is blind to moral judgements on how hard you party when you are with child. What the hell is wrong with this judge. Does she think she is the state mother hen. Is she here to teach us all some good ol’ fashion family values. I watched today as she told a guy she didn’t like he had to pay 700 a month in child support because she didn’t like his attitude. More than 50% of his income because he had a smart lip. It doesn’t matter how much you like or don’t like somebody, that is plain ol’ fashion UNFAIR. Who the hell does this bitch think she is? Judge Hatchett makes a mockery of our judicial system. She lets her own personal feelings guide her judgements as far as the law will let her. She is unjust, and makes her judgements according to what will get her ratings, not on what is right. There needs to be a stop to shitty shows like this that have real impacts on peoples lives. This is not a court room, it’s a bitch fight, and Judge Hatchett has the power in her hands to be the last one slappin’. Ya’ heard?
